Bio
DamNear is a high-voltage rock band out of Charleston, West Virginia, blending alternative rock, post-hardcore, shoegaze, and emo into a sound that’s heavy, atmospheric, and emotionally charged. Made up of four seasoned WV musicians, they earned their stripes in legendary local venues like The Brick House, The Blue Parrot, Boulevard Tavern, The V Club, and The World-Famous Empty Glass.
Formed as a cover band in 2023, they built their foundation on four decades of rock before shifting to originals that pair walls of guitar and punishing drums with vocals that move between a whisper and a scream. Live, they slam high-energy covers into their own brand of atmospheric alt rock. Songs about fear, intimacy, and truths you only find in the dark. It’s music for basements and big rooms, honest and loud, with choruses built to be shouted back.
Raised on the raw emotion of Blink 182, the grit of Alice In Chains, and the hooks of Fall Out Boy, they deliver a high energy setlist packed with iconic rock from the ‘70s, ’80s, '90s, and early 2000s. If you remember when Fuse TV brought music videos roaring back, you'll feel right at home in the crowd.

Weather you're wanting a mix of 90s and early 2000s rock or in the mood for a night of original music, DamNear is dedicated to bringing a high energy performance to your venue, bar, wedding, or private event.
To answer a few frequently asked questions:
Worried about volume? The band uses an electric or an acoustic drum kit, so volume can be tailored to the space!
Don't have a PA system? DamNear can provide a PA for most setting. If the space is too big, they may have to subcontract a sound company. This is addressed case by case and will all be covered when discussing prices and needs. But be assured, there will be no surprise costs and all details will be covered under the contract.
Cover Set length: 1-3 hours
Cover Songs: 90s and early 2000s rock mainly, however songs range from the 1970s to today
Pricing: varies on set length, venue capacity, and equipment needs.

Stage Plot
This is a basic stage plot that represents the normal stage position and input needs for the band. DamNear understands that not all venues are the same and will work with each sound engineer to get the right mix for each room
